Richard G.E. Galope

COO & Veteran Relations

Richard's role as the co-owner of Transcendent Care is marked by a wealth of experience and a diverse career background. With over 28 years in executive leadership positions across various sectors, including higher education, public media, economic development, and healthcare workforce development, he brings a unique perspective to the organization.

As a college administrator spanning 17 years, most recently as a Vice Chancellor, he was involved in managing, creating, and coordinating accreditation for numerous healthcare-related programs. Richard's background also extends to public agency executive roles, where he served as a contract administrator for a substantial in-home supportive services program, government relations officer, and social services policy analyst.  His success in establishing positive outcomes through strategic partnerships with state and federal agencies, as well as healthcare sector stakeholders, further highlights his ability to navigate complex healthcare environments.

The vision to establish Transcendent Care was strongly influenced by Richard's personal experience as a primary caregiver for family members facing aging-related complications. This hands-on involvement in caregiving, combined with his extensive professional background, inspired him to create a family- and Veteran-owned enterprise that prioritizes exceptional home care services.

Richard's educational achievements include an MBA in Management and a BS in Aeronautics, which he earned during his 8+ year tenure in the US Air Force. He possesses a credential as a Certified Senior Care Manager.
