How We Train Our Caregivers
Our commitment to providing exceptional home care begins with our amazing caregivers. At Transcendent Care, we take pride in our rigorous training program that sets our caregivers apart. Our professional training starts with a comprehensive 10-hour program at the time of hire, covering crucial topics such as improving mobility, infection control, home care safety, bathing techniques, handling emergencies, understanding patient rights, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. What makes our training truly exceptional is the ongoing commitment to professional development. Our caregivers continue to receive paid training, earning various certificates that signify expertise in key areas. This includes specialized training recognized by the Alzheimer's Association, where they become Alzheimer's Disease Specialists. Additionally, our caregivers undergo training in infection control, preventing hospital readmissions, diabetes care, and restorative care. This diverse curriculum ensures that our caregivers are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to address a wide range of health-related concerns, especially those related to aging.

How Training Professionalizes Our Caregivers
20+ Hours of Training Year 1
Our caregivers are required to complete over 8 hours of initial training, then complete monthly training milestones to ensure they stay current on home care trends. Ongoing CareForce Development is our priority!
Specialist Certificates
Specialist Certificates are available to our CareForce in Alzheimer’s Association Recognized Alzheimer’s Disease Specialist Training, Infection Control, Preventing Readmissions, Diabetes Care, & Restorative Care.
Paid Training and Bonuses
To encourage training and boost morale, we pay our caregivers for their training. They will also qualify for bonuses as incentives to encourage continuous learning and professional, workforce development.

You have a well-trained Care Team to support you. Not only do you have a caregiver coming to your home but our care team will be checking in on you and our caregiver to ensure you are both happy.

Because we are encouraging our caregivers to get so much training we are able to match your loved one to a caregiver trained in areas you may have ailments in. We have over 500 courses to pull from to ensure this,
