Courtney Gaines

Courtney brings over 14 years of nursing experience to Transcendent Care, having worked in Acute Care and Level I Trauma Center hospital units including surgical intensive care, post anesthesia care, progressive care, and telemetry, with particular expertise in post-operative, telemetry care for and monitoring of heart, respiratory, stroke, transplant, traumatic injury and cancer patients.  In her care planning role, she advises the Transcendent Care leadership team on policies and procedures related to post-discharge care coordination. This involves collaborating with hospital social services and case management, as well as working closely with patients and their families to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home care.  Her knowledge and insights contribute to the development of effective care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Courtney possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, and is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
